I am originally from Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and have lived in the Winston area since 1997. I am married to Mike Culberson.  We have two boys, Cory and Jarett.  They are older and we are trying to navigate the almost empty nest. I enjoy being near the water, spending time with my family and going to craft shows.

Teaching has always been in my blood. I enjoy making connections with my students and their families. After moving here, I was a stay at home mom for a few years, so it was important to find a home where I loved the school.  I found that in Winston Elementary. It is a child centered place with high expectations and a loving environment. When my youngest started kindergarten, I did too shortly later that year. There is a sense of joy that comes when working with young children and knowing the importance of fostering a love for learning. Thank you for the honor of teaching your child.  I love my job!
