BIO

I am blessed and honored to be the new assistant principal of Winston Elementary School. Watching children learn each day is very rewarding to me. Perhaps this is why my career as an educator is and has been my passion for 25 years. I am a life-long citizen of Winston, and as a child I attended Winston Elementary School. For the past 20 years, I have taught third grade, fourth grade, and special education at Winston.

Winston is a high achieving school where each child feels loved and accepted. I am a strong believer in the home-school-community connection. Building positive relationships between Winston’s staff, our students, and our parents is vital to our continued success. I would love to meet you and I welcome emails, phone calls and/or visits the next time you are in the building.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS:

I have two children. Matt is 19 at University of West Georgia.  Miranda is 15 at Alexander High School.
