Overdue notices will be sent home periodically. Students with excessive overdue books will not be allowed to check-out until books are returned or the student has paid for the lost books.

Students may come at any time to the media center for individual check out.

The AR program is web based and there are approzimately 146,561 tests available for students to take.  You may access this site by using the information below.  Students will not be able to take AR test at home, but this is a great site to view student progress and help your child build a book shelf.  Also, is located on this site.  You can use this website to find out if books at your home are available as AR test.  Please remember we do expect our 2nd - 5th grade students to read and test on books in their Lexile range, so check out to find out if books are in your child's Lexile range.  Another great way to help your child build a book shelf is to browse our library's electronic catalog at

Follet Book Shelf- Did you know that you can access your school's ebooks during the summer?  You can!  Click on the FollettShelf link to the left, choose your school, and login with your student username and password (the same one students use to login to school computers).

This year Winston's 4th and 5th grade students will have the opportunity to join our Tome Society Club to participate in various projects and/or reading six books from the It list.
